Taser Uk

Should UK police have tasers?
A man has died after being shot with a Taser in Bedford, which is my humble opinion proof that they are too dangerous to be given to all police in the UK, which is the plan! What are your thoughts on this? He was armed with a knife and the police have bulletproof vests and shields, why not use these to master? These Tasers have been responsible for other deaths so clearly are not safe for use in the way they are! I do not think the police need a weapon that can kill someone who has died unnecessarily when other methods could have been used!
I think with the amount of crimw stupid these days the police need them. Maybe I should not be powerful enough to kill though.
