Is Mexican President Felipe Calderon focusing on the wrong issues?

In his latest belligerent rant, President Calderon criticizes US Border Patrol for the killing of a Mexican immigrant who assaulted Border Patrol Agents and was subsequently hit with a stun gun. This is the standard that any Police Officer in the United States would do to any American citizen who assaulted the police. Then as if to prove his ignorance he blamed Arizona's new immigration law on an the incident, which took place on the California border!
Mexico is currently facing a the worst drug war it has ever seen and the government its self is on the brink of a fiscal meltdown, wouldn't it be wiser of President Calderon to focus on fixing that problem instead of pointing fingers at the United States?
I would like your thoughts please.
He needs to focus on his own country and get it straightened out. His people are fleeing here in groves. Even the wealthy in Mexico City are buying million dollar homes in and around Houston. We have given them billions in aid and equipment to defeat the cartels but their government is so freakin corrupt they want to blame us. I say screw Mexico and send his people back and tell them to riot and change their own government NOT ours!
